The Franklin Armory Militia Model Praefector-M AR-style semi-automatic rifle is a direct gas impingement rifle built on the always reliable .308 Winchester platform. The 20″ 4140 chrome- moly steel barrel features a 1:10″ twist rate and a salt bath nitride chamber, bore and exterior finish. The upper/lower receivers are perfectly paired and made from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with a type III hard-coat anodized, matte black finish.

The rifle utilizes a mid-length gas system for superb reliability. Additionally, the Franklin Armory Praefector-M features a factory custom-tuned trigger and Magpul Precision Rifle Stock for extreme accuracy at all ranges. The Diamondhead front and rear sights provide an excellent set of back-up iron sights in case your optic goes down. The rifle is also equipped with a bilateral safety selector, bolt release and magazine release.
