Combining two of John Moses Browning’s iconic innovations the 1911-380 is a light weight 1911 pistol utilizing the .380 ACP cartridge. This pistol is slightly larger than most modern pocket .380’s which allows for much better handling and recoil control. The .380 ACP can be a ‘snappy’ little cartridge, but in a 1911 style frame, you’ll get faster and more accurate follow-up shots. The controls operate the same as the original 1911 design with a compact G10 grip that is ideal for defense and equally at home on the range. In traditional Browning craftsmanship the 1911-380 features a machined steel slide with a matt black finish and an extremely accurate steel barrel with a target muzzle crown. It has a solidly constructed black composite polymer frame with molded checkering and an extended slide release. The familiar safeties include an extended ambidextrous thumb safety and a beaver tail grip safety. It comes with a reliable 8 round steel magazine and the magazine release is still positioned in the same comfortable location adjacent to the trigger guard. The Browning 1911-380 is the perfect choice for any shooter looking for a multipurpose firearm.
